Opinions: What are they...
2 rabbits on a toboggin sliding forcefully down a pile of rocks.
That's what opinions are. What? Are you saying I'm wrong? Well, that's my opinion! You can't argue with my opinion because my opinion cannot change!
Let's face it. We're all game creators and we all like to do things our own way. If you stick us all into a group, many of us tend to butt heads on issues, especially having to do with game creation. As I've already prooven, I have quite a few issues with the way the site sections are kept up here at DC. My next tackled issue is that of forced opinion.
There is more than one way to skin a cat... or in this case, get your point across. As I see it, and the way the subject is viewed by many of my community based peers is, when an article is written, especially if it has to do with teaching something, the end product should always be left to the student... or once again, in this case, the klikers.
Don't be an over-opinionated biased fool about things. If you're writing an article concerning how other people should make their games, then keep the word "SHOULD" in mind. Don't try to take control of other people or throw your opinions about in a mindless effort to make everyones games into games YOU love to play. Say what you need to say but be vague enough to sound professional and leave the rest open to the reader.
It's sad I should even think about writing articles like these, but it's gotten to the point that many of the articles on DC are nothing but rambling crap. If DC is going to end up failing and dissapearing, then at least let the final while be great. No more bull.
BTW: There will not be a part 3, THANK GOD!!!
*...and to think I'm an Atheist. lol
