I have suddenly realized something, and I sure others have also realized this also. Most people only make games for so long, a portion, a stage in their lifes where they want to make games. Mostly younger kids, wanting to make the best games and more advanced people wanting to make simple games. People grow up, and I have noticed myself losing interest in games, although I will probubly stay here for a good while longer since I have been attached to this here site.
But if you take a look around, go back to the place where you started clicking, mine was the clickteam forums. That was the first forum I had gone to about kliking and then later discovered the V-cade forum, and ultimately The Daily Click. I hadnt been to these sites in well over a year or two, and recently revisited. One thing I have noticed, is that there was only a few people there from when I have been there, all the rest were new people, same with the v-cade. And the games and other such things haven't gotten much better, things haven't changed that much.
Once people get tired of kliking they move on, and as so, new people discover it. People wanting to know how to make custom movements now as they did back then, how to make a game scroll as they did back then. Its a continuous cycle that hopefully won't end. I'm seeing it happen here as well, when I started here, I wasn't too great at things, I made numerous screen names, and looked up to the people that were good at kliking. Now quite a while later, I see that new people are starting to discover kliking, as well as people are leaving or retiring from it.
The old veterans leaving, leaving their marks and growing old of the whole game making process. I started out kliking in my room with Klik'n'Play. then slowly moved on to The Games Factory, then Multimedia Fusion and ocasionally 3d Gamestudios. Its sad seeing people get old from when I started here. Life is too short, and now I see that. Well just wanted to share this information with you people. Just something I just noticed.
