A Simple but Neat Logo Effect

Hi. This is my first article but i hope you will be able to understand what I am saying completely.
This article will teach you to create a mettalic effect sort of like brushed alluminum for logos.
To do this you will need Adobe Photoshop (I am using Photoshop Elements so of course I am not sure if this feature is available in the full versions.)
Anyways, make a new picture in photoshop, whatever size you like. This will be the logo. Using a new layer, make the text in the logo using any method you'd like. For best results, keep the edges of the text hard. Remember, this is a metal effect so you want a silvery grey colour. A gradient might also help.
Next, simplify (rasterize) the layer containing the text.
Now, under the layer sytles tab located in the top right corner, select a bevel out effect of some kind to give your text some depth.
Finally, go to the effects tab and apply the blizzard efect on the text. That's all! Tell me what you think of this please.
