I don't know why, but I suddely started feeling like finally getting something done. This also involves me visiting TDC more often, including these forums (you know, getting something done klik-wise, which also involves the community).
The point is: At the uni I tend to use my lovely tablet pc (during boring lectures etc.) while at home I prefer my old tower to do something computer-wise. So I usually visit the forums at the uni, get home and - tadaa - all threads are marked as unread again. Same thing of course happens vice versa. So my suggestion would be to save a small timestamp in TDC's internal database when a user has checked the site the last time instead of just using cookies for that stuff... Would make me like this site more
Also I'd like to note that the general chat and the digital works forums don't seem to notice at all that I visited them (and yes, I did view a thread )

yea do what the guy says. i have the same problem, but maybe worse my life is spread over 5 or so computers so yea... or ill have to call in jimmy savile
