does anyone know how can i make or where can i find Gameboy style sounds? that ones that looks like beeps.
what program should i use? is there any gameboy sound ripper on the net? just like SSor95 for Snes roms?
You might wanna look for "chiptune samples" on Google, they're just bloops and beeps that people use to make retro music with mod trackers

yea yea! it is for my fighting game, as i am making some characters that doesn't exist on other fighting games (Crhis Redfield, Soma Cruz and others) i have to use generic sound, cant put voice for shoryukens, hadoukens and such.
i want it to be like Snk vs Capcom for neo geo pcocket or others fighting games for the classic GB.
soma cruz - where does that sound familiar from, oh wait, it's castlevania isn't it. Actually, Chris Redfield was in one of the NGPC games I believe, or maybe it was a fan sprite, I can't remember.
Dude, I've said it before and I'll say it again, your game is awesome.
chris redfiled is in card fighters, but its not a fighting game.
about the game, the next demo will feature at least 10 chars, it is still full of bugs and i NEED to fix the sound engine before releasing a new beta.
and this time i'll put it into the preview section...or maybe games section.
and i couldnt find any downloadable chiptune from google... U.U
well, i was searching for chiptunes again and found some files as chiptunes.com but i couldnt play them! and i was wondering if it could be converted into wav files, or if mmf has some extension that plays those kind of files.
There is the Advanced Beep object that makes Beeps from you r "PC Speaker" which is actually an onboard speaker thingy on your Mobo, bu sadly not everyone has one so it wouldnt work for most (including me ), but i doubt that would really make the sounds you want, there should be some over the net, just google it.
Chiptunes are the way, try going to www.modarchive.com
i own king of fighters round 2 for the neogeo pocket color and the music is fantastic, its a shame there arent many midis around for it.
