For years, I've been trying to just try to build some sort of large database for klikers who have created certain good engines and want others to use it or for klikers who are only good at doing one little thing and want to offer their services to someone else.
The closest thing I've gotten to that goal is my Click FAQ (on Klik Academy) and this forum.
So, long story short, anyone want to team up in some sort of Alliance? The bonus is we share any finished engines, extra talents in our teams together. Only drawback is that secret info on projects, etc might leak out, but that's about it. But other than that, it's a good idea .
Think of it.. if the skilled among us work together instead of waste time doing things that other teams have already done, we would be far better off...

That's the point of the whole thing. Everyone keeps all their impressive stuff for their own top secret games, so it's kinda ironic that everyone keeps having to code the same things from scratch when we could just improve little bugs in a good design by working together.
Pinball movement I don't have, but if you could help fix a tiny bug in my physics engine, I could very easily modify it into a pinball engine in just a week or 2.
My physics engine is pretty cool, it's got very realistic individual velocity, acceleration, friction, etc in just a few events, but it suffers from a problem I think most experienced custom platform engine makers have figured out.

My super secret codename XYZ engine needs fastloops. Too bad fastloops hate me. An alliance sounds good, but I don't know who would go for it...
Muz: When I get back from my vacation I'll try to fix that physics engine. I think I know whats going wrong.

I was just about to write an email to you about that secret XYZ engine. Yeah, think maybe we could fix the physics with a loop.
Alliances were a lot easier back in the olde days when people still used KNP. Back then, the focus was on having fun doing & showing off a game, instead of all this paranoid crap about people stealing source codes and refusing to accept help from others.
I miss the old days when everyone was nice (and the nice people still made games).

All the really helpful examples (custom platform for instance) is already made. People don't really need to rely on help from another programmer anymore :/
