Hi!
I am planning to start working on a Tycoon kind of game; you all know Rollercoaster Tycoon I guess. My idea is to create a swimmingpool or, even bigger, a Campingsite tycoon game. With trailers, tents, all kinds of activities, (outdoor) swimming facilities with all kinds of glides etc  Now the only problem is that it is just too big to make it on my own. Well, I could spend a year on it, but I'm not patient enough for that I'm afraid.
Is there anyone of you that would like to get involved in this project, as the one that does the coding. I would like to specialize in graphics, especially in isometric graphics. So, anyone?

A wild-life tycoon game would be more fun with animals and what not. But then you would need to program them all. Or a safari game.

Btw, Good luck finding someone to code iso-graphics that you actually position in the game!!! I believe it takes alot of layering?

Yeah it does take a lot of layering. But we got the Layer Object for that
I already came up with a 'script' to give all the tiles of the landscape different Z-values. With the layer object I choose Decrease with Z-values et voila

Hmm, i've always wanted to make a tycoon game, i've just never had the time to do it on my own. I'll help code the simulation things (I'm bad at everything that has to do with graphics).

Yep with Isometric games you have to have a good knowledge of the coding in MMF.
Well, I have ideas of how to do an engine... but I don't want to. I want to make graphics

well, i'll finish the engine before I work on this, don't worry. I'm STILL working on AI, it's just so freaking hard to make AI that isn't complete crap, or for that matter, does anything at all.

AI is hard to do indeed What do you think of the AI of the visitors of the camping or swimming pool? YOu think that will be easy ?
