I think a good indication that he, y'know, DIDN'T make this himself is the fact that he has no idea what to even name "his" character. Dude, I'd be pissed. Go and sign up for that board and post that he stole your work. Give everyone a link to somewhere else that it's posted up on (your website or whatever). If people there see that he's ripped off somebody, maybe they'll get on his case about it. Maybe someone knows the guy in RL or could contact him or shake him down or something. Unless you want your hard work to be forever known across the free 'net as "Chocowabbit", you owe it to yourself to make sure everyody knows this guy stole your work and is claiming it as his own.
This is a great example of why Copyrights are your friends!
