It's going through several cycles of reviving and dying again. As far as I know the latest idea is to have a blog-type format that any Clickzine staff member can update whenever they feel like it.
Yeh the Clickzine is being completely re-worked.
The first and last issue we released wasn't very popular at all, plus it was hard work trying to get reviews and previews done because the 'team' was busy with other stuff.
My latest plan or scheme is basically to turn the Clickzine into a blog. Certain people will become editors (I'm planning giving lots of people the chance to be editor - probably regularly visitors to TDC) and they will be able to add any news, reviews, previews .etc going on in the community.
Why is this better?
Well you won't just be getting updates once every month. Also it means editors have less pressure to do tons of reviews and content within a specified time limit. We have a basic wordpress blog set up - just need to make some skin adjustments, then hire some editors and probably buy a domain too. I'm hoping Rikus will let us host it on Clickisland too - that's if we can have access to the databases there
Klik-Me is going to a blog format (powered by Wordpress as well). I\'ve got it all working and running alongside the original site, but I\'ve just gotta work on a few graphical touches before people can properly visit it. I won\'t be doing typical reviews/previews though, mainly just articles (as well as the usual news updates) so I guess it\'ll be different to the ClickZine...
