Hi everybody, just found this website yesterday when looking for some old click websites I used to go to. Years ago I used to frequent the click cafe, and when that went down, I stepped away from clicking. Two years ago I got bit by the bug, and decided to give it a go again on my own, until my copy of MMF went buck nutty when I hit save and somehow deleted every event inside of a frame that took me at least a month and a half. I didn't save a backup, got frustrated and stopped. Got bit by the bug again to dust off my copy of MMF a couple weeks ago and decided to see if there was any online community left when I stumbled upon clickisland and then this site. It appears to be friendly waters around here for the most part, so I figured I'd drop in and introduce myself. Also, a quick question: for most games made, is .midi still the standard background music format, or have some people upped to using .mp3's in background music? I'm a guitarist of six years, and having just bought a synthesizer, I figured I might look into offering original background music for the community. At any rate, hello and I am looking forward to seeing some more great games. Some of the previews look amazing.
Click cafe is one of those sites I made an account for once and never actually went back to.
But i think it was in decline before I even started clicking.

Hello there, welcome.
Ignore the other Joe regarding the things he says about Phizzy. Get to know Phizzy. It's better that you get to know him because else you'd probably be hating him.
MIDIs are old. You can play mp3's, oggs, modules, hell, even IMF (Adlib) and SPC (SNES) files.
Also, MMF2 has been released last year, and a (VERY) new product called Construct (www.scirra.com ) has recently (yesterday) started putting up beta test releases.
Hi Joe! Some people still use midis for their music, I'm one of them.
P.S: You should change your name to something like "Joe #4"

"Eugh, DaVince seriously, is that ghastly company paying you to advertise for them? It's not going to make your Pokémon fan game any more fun you know."
