I'm not desperate, I just want people to give me money. If it works, sweet! If not, then whatever. I don't think its a half bad idea to be honest, I've seen people give more money for less. I'm offering a service. Entertainment. And I'm willing to sacrifice my body if it makes me money. Just look at the Jackass guys...
I saw a site the other day, where people could donate money, and for every 5000 dollars the owner would cut off one finger and post pics on the site. It went down after a while though. I'm assuming the guy just ran off with the money, haha.
There was a chap who asked for donations to buy a PowerMac G5, he was some indy video guy and needed a mega fast computer. But by the time he got the donations and filmed his old G4 blowing up (which had to be a fake, old PC parts in some PowerMac case) the intel systems were just around the corner! Poor chap.

Bet he was some surgeon or something who had easy access to cut-off fingers anyway that'd of been even better
