I visited Total Klik today and to my surprise all site content has been replaced with 7 news posts and some new diagonal stripes. There are also adverts in the middle of the page, and ChrisD is posting real news like it's 1999. Did I just travel forward or back in time?
Anyway, I was actually on a hopeful search to find the really, really old Mina of the Pirates trailer. The one with the Daft Punk music, I think. Anyone?
I have to say it was a bad decision to re-code the whole site in php. And why remove all the features? Surely the site could remain up in asp form while he recoded?
Total-Klik used to be amazing when the forums were active, no constant off-topic-bickering like we have at TDC, just Pure Inspiring Gooey Gamey Goodness. Too bad it's pretty much dead nowadays
It'll be back whenever Podunkian decides to code the rest of the site in PHP. I would remind him to finish the site or ask how the site is coming along but that would probably result in a ban. You know how he is.
Anyone else can feel free to do it though, not me, 'cuz I've always been on his bad side ever since I decided to fool around in the k&p IRC chatroom back when I was like.. 12 (and used the nickname "Gilgamesh"). He still remembers those days, loud and clear. So yeah, that's why I'd rather not risk it.

He said (before the site's hosting expired and went down) that ASP servers were very expensive and since he is just a college student he can't afford it. So he moved it to the same PHP server he uses for his blog (superfundungeonrun.com) to save money.

I don't really have an opinion on Total Klik. I just though it was funny that everything disappeared and old names are posting news. Good luck to Pod, recoding the entire site in PHP. I'd rather he worked on The Underside instead, personally.
