I thought of Kirby: Canvas Curse when I saw this thread. Slink beat me to it
Nanostray
It got pretty lukewarm reviews but I love it. Closest thing to Axelay on DS yet. It's got a great soundtrack and uses the touchscreen features in a subtle way.
I also recently played Phoenix Wright and regret not picking it up much, much earlier. I think it did okay commercially, but I'd still say it's overlooked by a lot of people.
Yes, Ive heard the Phoenix Wright series are meant to be really good... hmm... will have to purchase that one day soon- I think a new one has just been released?
Phoenix Wright is good because the script and characters are excellent. It made me laugh out loud (genuine LAWLS) so many times. No amount of reviews or trailers will convince you, but trust me, it's really good.
Update: Purchased Was going to buy it a while back but never got round to it. I regret it now, as it's getting harder to find... cost me £15 for it brand new.
Well, if you like cute, innovative games, Id say buy it. You basically draw the outline of pacman, and it comes to life, then you guide it around with lines, draw arrows which fire at the ghosts etc. I also love the designs of the ghosts
