Pro: Umm... C&C Generals, the Total War games, or maybe Balance of Power

If I could do it, I'll defintly make, Eye of the Beholder or Bard's Tale. They were the games, when I was a teenager, that introduced me to the great RPG genre.
Seriously, I know it sounds ridiculously childish, but I'd love to make a Pokemon game. Mainly because I was really dissapointed with the overall map and character design in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. The story was pretty bland, too.
In the future I'd most like to make a Sonic the hedgehog fangame since there is a lot of potential for interesting level design with all those ramps and such.
That RPG game look fun ... I too would like to make an SSBB game, but with my own characters.

Martin why do your eyebrows move?
Because i was using it on MSN Messenger and i needed to to animate, i made it an avatar for the site and now i realise i could've just made a very tiny colour change as a new animation frame...:|

Yes! I love Pearl (still playing through and aiming to 100% it) and such but there's so much they could do with the series. I know the emphasis is more on the Pokemon than player, but why oh why do they offer so much customisation for the Pokemon but none for the player and their sprite? And why is aren't the battles in 3D? Why have battle speeds been slowed down?

I know nothing of the series but wasn't Xenosaga on the PS2 a sequal to Xenogears?
Cecil I've palyed a DEMO of Legend of Dragoon - I was in hospital and needed some entertainment so I bought a magazine with a disk included. That was one of the games on there, I thought it was strange
I couldn't agree more about F-Zero, even to this day F-Zero GX on the cube still stands strong against newer games. I'd love to see a new one for the Wii with online capabilities.
It's only a gameboy game, so there'd be plenty of scope for improving graphics and sound effects. The gameplay is perfect as it is though (it was designed by Shigeru Miyamoto who also created just about every other good nintendo game - Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, F-Zero etc). I actually can't believe there wasn't a version made for the DS - the dual screens would be ideal (top screen shows above ground view, bottom screen shows underground).
I'd love to make a fan Splatter House game. In the style of number 3 but with a fighting engine more like Streets of Rage 3. I think SoR3's game play was a really good blend of having enough moves so that there is variety but not being so complex that it turns into a "torment fighting" game like Teken or Street Fighter.

When I told a friend I could make games a long time ago, that's what he wanted to make. Although, for some reason, he wanted it to be fat Spiderman. O_o I never saw him again. ;__;
Pokemon. But it would be nothing like any of the previous games, so I guess it wouldn't really be a fan game. One thing's for sure, it would only have the original 150 or 151. The battle system would be a lot more dynamic - not turn based at all, and working more like in the series. Complete 3D world, too. Aah, if only I had my own dev team...
Ooh yeah! And we could make it an online game! Maybe we could even have our own accounts as profiles or something!? That'd be really cool!
IDEA!?!?!?
We could name it something like "Daily clickémon" Or "Clickémon World"!
That'd be cool!
That, or for example, I would draw all of the characters myself to give a particular style that's coefficient to the games. I actually wouldn't mind making an online TDC racer similar to the SNES Super Mario Kart. That is whenever I'm done with my own projects.
Ive always thought it would be cool to make a fan game of the Fishhead games. Although in a sense i do think of Lil' pirate as a kind of spiritual fan spin off type thing. Mainly because most of the early graphics i made were based on the art from Fishhead world tour and some pictures from Hayo's website.
Loaded from ps1. I donno if you guys have played it but it was awesome. Great fun oh, and metal gear solid 2. In the remake, I'd remove Raiden from it and his exceptionally cheesy and mood-killer girlfriend.
loved ainevoltas (hope i spelled it correctly) and final vision. You should release the engine at the moment, im trying to make a similar game, whenever i get the time that is. Ill post the graphics im done with soon.
I agree with MacAdam actually, it would be a strange and surreal universe with all the conflicting designs.
WOOTness
MacAdaM - 1
All teh other nubcakes - 0
Ftw.
(I honestly don't know why I've been talking like that more.)
But that would be an awesome game IMO. We should deffently try to make that a team TDC project sometime.
Your just jealous that you're not as awesome as me.
(And my megaman avatar )
Ah man... a TDC-wide project. My brain is exploding and imploding simultaneously at the awesomenetude of the proposition.
But submitting different styled-sprites by everyone would only work if everyone had the same spriting skills and used the same shading techniques. Either one person would have to do the graphics from concept designs, or we'd all have to be uber-good. >_> Different styles in one game would work, but different shading would look crapola. You know it would end up crappy.
The proposition is a good idea, but we're just flat-out not organized and pro enough to do it. If, say, Microsoft and Nintendo both put different style works for one game together, it would look ok.
Well, I've been thinking about a TDC wide game for a couple months actually. There would be one general spriter, one general programmer, and one general music designer. All of three of them would have a lot of work to do, so TDC should probably pay, then the rest of the site gives suggestions. And everyone on the site would donate their characters and stages and create a super smash bros. style game just using click characters.
The idea has been in my head for a while, I pondered sending pms to some of the clickers I get along with and ask them to make one with me using our characters, but never actually did it.
