Um, why not just use anything like Google Maps to work out the distance, put in your cars MPG (since engines vary depending on age and such) and work it out from there? I dunno. It seems like a good idea but it'd be too difficult to get the actual exact cost.
Also, maybe it's just the UK but petrol prices vary depending on station brand and location.

youre gonna find that anywhere where there is a competitive economy. there are stations that are across the street from each other in the US that have different prices for the same gas.
I quite like the costtodrive.com thing. Too bad it's only for the US.

It worked for me when I put in some British locations. Doesn't come up with the cost, but I can easily put 22 gallons into Google and find out the answer.
