I just want to say that, finally, the Top Downloads list actually is a good representation of the best games on the site. I'm not sure what kind of crazy algorithm it's using but it seems to work.

Well it's not going to please everyone but generally I think it's a good selection. I agree there are a couple of games in there that could arguably be replaced by others, but it's nice to see Lyle, Noitu 2, Faerie Solitaire and Walkie Tonky up there as good examples of what MMF can do.

First I've heard someone say they're happy with it.  I am too, but I think over the course of a lot of hullabaloos there have been several ideas pitched that would make it better.
Can't remember any of them.

My game was at the top but someone voted it down. Games with more stars are higher up.

Happened to me too, but it was quite unfairly in the top downloads list, ahead of many other, better games. Games being able to shoot to the top quickly and one person being able to knock them out of the same list is an unfortunate effect of taking an average of the total stars.

I did hover over the delete button at the time though. Not in a boo-hoo way, but it took the admins at that time like 3 days to delete a 1 star rating and a week to respond to anything on the forums.
