Just wondering how long it takes you guys to release your games..
Ive spent the last few weeks, on my game (World Football Quiz) and with the progress i've
done i cud release this game by the middle of next month or by the end of the month..

Would it mean im rushing it or not???

It varies from game to game! Some games are little arcade goodies you can spit out in a couple hours or days (Some competitions limit time, for example). Some take a few months. Some take longer! How long it takes you doesn't matter as long as the end result is satisfactory. You could very well be a coding and photoshopping whiz and plunk a good lengthy game on the table in a few days that's just as good as someone else's months-long project.

Which is kind of sad in a way, but still true!

Quality is what you look at when evaluating quality, not time spent.

My games take ages, a couple of years for the bigger ones. I'm trying to spit out a quick platform game but Ive actually spent the past few months churning out music and making additions to my level editor.
Sometimes you just can't rush.

Actually I'd say it's not a good idea to just tell yourself your game will be finished at a specific time unless you have actually planned out everything in advance.
I like to finish my game then wait a bit before releasing it. Bugs might appear in that time or you might get a sudden idea you might regret not including.

When I was using the tools more frequently it took anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.

Good afternoon to you too!

Just keep working on it and release it when you're happy with the result. Good luck with your game!
