PLease people join my pledge to keep TDC alive because
after all we really do need it dont we.
Any little niggling coding problems that we may have needed help for over the years,
the humour, the great bond we share , the godly desire to create ,
the egos fed ( or spliced and fed to the sharks)(or minnows)(or tadpoles)(even critism can help )
the news about whichever fantastic product we've got or other news
the competitions that help us excel slightly better each time in our
apprenticeship to becoming greater than great
the problems weve shared and empathised with both personally and professionally
the side splitting laughs weve had at sound of battling trolls gruntings
the ideas we can gather from a knowledgeable bank of wisdom
the being struck by the awe fish at everyone elses projects and artwork
IVe made a small donation for now (tiny) I even went and finally sorted out my paypal card details today just to do this (I have been keep trying to donate regulary but was declined ,didnt put new card details in.)
It fills my heart with such dismay to think that this fantastic site that has managed to get through all these years can come to an end and I also ask one more thing,
though we enjoy the troll battles so much (almost my favourite bit now teehee) I fear that it may discourage people from following the site through fear and having a lesser ability to handle such harsh verbalism and critism and can only do the site damage.(loss of donations for instance. could you not just do a seperate post especially for troll battles and we can judge who wins each week. and a thought just occured to me this instance, could the 'horrible' people be working for rival sites >
I wonder if we could give people a second chance after theyve been banned , they might appreciate that, knowing that they were liked after all. and they may become nicer for it.(obviously if they abuse the rules after a second chance is issued they should be warned with a ban for life
anyway I for one want to keep this site so please join me in making a small donation, ask your mum or dad if they can help, tell them one day you may be richer for it
Im not admin or anything to do with the site Im just like you, (we pity the admins really dont we, but they do do a good job and it must be hard trying to keep the balance at a nice even eqillibirum),
TDC is doing pretty well. It's been declared both "dieing" and "dead" for a little under a decade now. I don't think it's going anywhere any time soon.
i agree
the whole "the community is dying" debate is going on since the creation of the daily click it almost seems like it to me. now look at all the community sites that we had. pretty much every site is gone by now but the daily click.
seriously we only have the lame ass forums clockteam offers and the *spiffy* : - ) daily click - the only community site.
as long as clickteam is alive (and they are VERY alive right now compared to what it used to be like) there is a need for a community site. so people WILL make games, the dc will get content
and if people are happy here (and im quite happy here) people will also donate so they site can stay online so i don't see a reason for it to disappear all of a sudden.
and if it looks very dark i am sure there will be a newspost about it so everyone can do as much as possible to keep it alive but so far times look good i say
Any particular reason it's so high? Are they charging $5 anytime someone says "lol"?

That Really Hot Chick
now on the Xbox Live Marketplace!
We have just moved to a better server, which I believe is quite a bit cheaper too, so I'm not sure how accurate our donations page is (I don't think it's been updated for a while)
What it all boils down to is more respect for the admins. Obviously they can't punish ANY troll without other trolls falling over it. I would hate to have their job really...
