This place is doing so much better than what I've seen on facebook, of which the majority really is 'fuck yeah!'. Glad people know well enough to just let it be, it happened, it really doesn't change anything. I don't want to start any Obama's speech discussions, but I gotta say that suppressed smirk he had the whole time he was giving that speech really irked me.
Also your new avatar is awesome, MasterM, though I will miss the H-man. Congrats on graduating!

haha I was wondering if anyone would notice the avatar change. I am glad you like it. I have loved the hitler avatar- thought it was hilarious and giving away that I am German (and no I do NOT like Hitler or think its good what he did but we shouldn't take everything so seriously. its good to make fun of that man) but I thought it might offend people. Sure no one has ever complained about the Hitler avatar but maybe someone was bothered by it so I've changed it to something everyone can appreciate I hope.
Also I want to become a mod of TDC. After going here every day for more than 10 years I think it's some job I could do. So to show everyone that I mean business and that I want to be a nice fellow I have changed the avatar.
Also thats whats going on on facebook. all americans are like "f'ck yeh!" and post fake pictures of his corpse. it's pretty disturbing and even tough he was a terrible person i do NOT celebrate anyone's death. maybe as a European coming from a country without capital punishment I am against the killing of people. There is a reason why we have courts and prisons. People can't just play Cowboy because they feel it's the right thing to do so I don't know how much of a shoot out it was. I think they assassinated him but thats just some speculation.
about me graduating: yeh ive to make a movie. ive already finished the story board.
and here is something for your luls: oh no i just checked they removed it from youtube. it was was asian action news. 3d animated news "Bin Laden Dead: Video animation of terrorist leader's final moments (賓拉登死了!" - THEY TOOK IT DOWN! aaaw man
I'll be happy about the death of Bin Laden when I can take a trip on an airplane without being groped first.
Otherwise, his death pales in comparison to the hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths the USA has caused, and the approximate 10,000 replacements for Bin Laden that have been created thanks to the USA's military invasions. All that, and Gitmo's still open (along with dozens of other unofficially sanctioned prisons in foreign lands), illegal wiretapping is still happening within US borders, antiwar protesters are still being spied upon, whistleblowers like Bradley Manning are being brutalized, and education funding is still cut while the military budget won't be reduced.
There's no reason to celebrate. Unless you're Bin Laden yourself.
Congratulations on graduating . On that note are'nt German degrees really really long? I heard a doctorate in Germany is typically 7 years, and a Masters is typically 2 - 3!
On the German theme I must add that My VW Polo is the worst car I have owned to date - ( ignition coil melted, pedal box fracture, waterpump bearing, wishbones that need changing every 2 years as the bush fatigues and pulls out). I do maintain my cars very well (better than recommended in the Haynes manual) and I do the work myself, so I know it gets done...
I hope VW picks up its reliability as they did slump in the ratings...
On topic, the only thing that worries me to be honest is the possible back lash from this event. I really hope everything just quietens down.
