How do you stop a character from sticking to the ceilings or walls? I keep playing with Games Factory but i cant find a solution.

Custom Movement It's pretty much the only way. But if you want to use default movements you have to use detectors. Custom movement is the way to go .

If you want a quick fix that's simple to program this is what I've used:
- Character collides with Background + Animation Jumping is Plyaing :: Ignore control
- every 00"-25 :: restore control
It only stops cieling sticking and does it pretty crudely, but it works and is simple. Obviously, programming your own custom movement is the best you can do, but we all aren't master programmers (that's why we use TGF in the first place).
been prayin' and, well, you might...

i had this problem.
instead of backdrops i used active onbjects at first and my charater got stuck to walls.
Then i made it backdrops and it worked perfectly.
If you are using backdrops and still problems, yes use custom (i dont use it but its best that i should use it)
