I just wondered, since I heard on the news that apparantly 4 our of 10 computers have it. The University of East Anglia (in Norwich, UK) is loaded with it. I dont think I have it, but because its the fastest spreading virus ever made, I urge you all to be careful when reading attachments.

Uh, I should probably get a virus scanner, my one is way out-dated... is there any free virus scanners? because no way am I paying for one if I end up not even having any viruses.

No, because I am actually careful about opening email attachments. When will people learn?

I haven't scanned for months, and I scanned just now and I still have no viruses. Common sense, really. And knowing your own PC well (so you can spot anything gone different quickly).

What Tigs said. If I see any processes I don't recognize I close them, and I always keep my firewall on.

I recklessly barge forward and load up on viruses, that is until I got my new Bitchin' Symantec Norton Antivirus/ Internet Security 2004 Professional! This baby has restricted practically all the sites I go, even DC. I mean lollers on rollers! So I usually turn it off and recklessly barge forward anyway...

I installed Norton Antivirus/Norton Internet Security 2004 on 3 computers. On one it corrupted windows, and another it corrupted a harddrive, and on the last one it slowed it down so much I couldn't run programs.

Now I use Freedom Antivirus and Security.
