"You know what, you make points about his website, without saying anything about TDC."
The link is posted at the bottom of EVERY post he makes. Post he makes HERE. AT THE DC.
"Yes, people have had problems with us admins before, But pete's a damn good admin who is simply sick of the childish bullshit that goes on around here, much like this post."
That made me laugh. This is childish to you? I think talking about poo is just a little more childish.
"Pete's a great fan of sarcasm and this shows on his site, but only if you're smart enough to know what sarcasm is."
Oh I think I get the joke, I'm going to beat my wife and laugh at fat people! Great sarcasm pete.
"So, in conclusion, enjoy your new password Ashman3205, and if you try to get an admin fired in the future, please back it up with some evidence of him being a crappy admin, not bashing his personal page. And grow up."
In conclusion, You should not delete me for stating all valid points, Oh and if you dont have your glasses with you, I had a whole page of evidence. One last thing. Compare Ashmans Admin behaviour with this? Sorta funny eh? He did practicly nothing and got fired, compared to this.. its a big joke, And me grow up? You changed my password, Half the people agreed with me half didn't, just because you where on the other side you do that?! People cant say anything here with out that happening.
"OMFG!!! NOW WE RAELLY KNOW WHAT PEATE IS LIKE!!! WE MUST SIGN A PETITIONS AND OVERTHROW TEH EVIL DISCTATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111
BTU ITS NICE THAT HE LINKS TO A WEBSITE THAT WAERNS US ABOUT TEH CONTENTS OF HIS WEBSITE!! INSTEAD OF LINKING DIRECtLY TO A GAY PORNO WEBSITE LIKE YOU!!! NOOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OLOLOLOLOLPWNED"
I believe all members, including admins, should adhere (I know I spelt that wrong, I just know it!) to the rules.
To protect my account, i'm not gonna go bash admins without reasons, and i'm too lazy to dig up fresh reasons why anyone should be banned.
I think that Pete Nattress should post a warning describing the content of the site, so the squeamish know to turn away.
If enough people have a problem with Pete Nattress's website, he will be removed of his admin status. TDC, like all online communities, aren't built of code and admins. They're made of people. If the people reject Nattress, we will be removed.
-ThO's 2 cents (I should've saved them for MMF ;((( )
Ashman's post was a little more direct than a link to a web site.
Personally attacking an admin for nothing more than his personal webpage IS chilish.
Pete will not be removed for his personal page, we have no control over his personal page.
I do not have a problem with Pete's webpage, but I did have a problem with your quest to get him removed from adminship because you don't like his personal page. If you don't like it, don't go there, just because the link is there doesn't mean you have to click it.
We do have control over direct links posted here however. Like the ones in your signature, I'm sorry there is something simply different from Pete's page and the gay porn link you have posted, for this, you're deleted, now by the technical rules, I should ban you for a direct link to pornography.
Feel free to come back anytime, just don't go posting more porn links.
Steve Zissou: Anne-Marie, do all the interns get Glocks?
Anne-Marie: No, they have to share one.

children, on every page of my website there is a meta tag! it's very long but it starts
<meta http-equiv="pics-label"...
what is this strange meta tag? it's a label from the ICRA which i volunteered for. ICRA ratings are picked up by filtering software and filter offensive websites. guess what, my website was classed as offensive! that means it is filtered automatically from any little kids who try and access it, providing their parents have enabled some form of blocking software. i think i've done enough to prevent kids from accessing my page. what more can i do? add a warning? "only click eneter if you are over 18"? would that be effective at all? no, of course not, it would just entice kids in quicker. how can i stop people being offended? if i post a warning saying, "do not click here if you are easily offended", how the hell can i tell if a person is really going to be offended? sure, they may not have a problem with jokes about shit, but what about all my wife beating and homosexual antics? (oxymoronic if anything, dontcha think?)
it's not my problem if someone's parents don't take care for them on the internet and allow sites such as mine to be freely accessed. it's not my problem if someone can't take a joke. it's not my problem that you think i'm gay and should be shot. i will not remove my website from my sig and i will not post any namby pamby warning messages about it. people use the internet at their own risk. and, as others have said, you don't have to go to my site at all.
besides, you still don't seem to have got the point through your skull: my website has nothing to do with DC at all. ashman screwed about with DC, posting stuff about his weiner directly on the front page. i don't do that. additionally, although some of you seem to think otherwise, my site is not a porn site. if you think someone would be able or willing to jack off to pictures of one guy kissing the other on the cheek, or someone mooning a camera, grow up.
"if you think someone would be able or willing to jack off to pictures of one guy kissing the other on the cheek, or someone mooning a camera, grow up."
there are so many names i could mention, except id get banned *ahem, not that i was going to say an admins name, cause thats not very nice at all*
Pete: i thought it was all funny(except the wife beater, brownie points went down there) until the poo section......"Ghost poo" its called a fucking Phantom, if your gonna talk about shit... do it right!
"Compare Ashmans Admin behaviour with this? Sorta funny eh? He did practicly nothing and got fired, compared to this.. its a big joke"
ashman was stripped of adminship for posting 'ive got a 10 incher' (or somthing along those lines) on the front page (in rather large letters), thats not exactly nothing. pete dosent go round posting lude remarks on tdc, and again, what he dose on his site is his buissnes(bah - i carnt spell).
Pete, you could always remove the link to the site in your signature, and instead put it as part of your profile

i think that would be "worse" in a way, actually. i don't really care if people visit my site or not, and it's not click focused so it doesn't really belong in the links section
OK, maybe a warning message was dumb, but still...
I believe admins should stick more to the rules than regular members should, mostly because of the whole role model effect. If someone young, impressionable n00b comes and looks at Pete's, or any admin's behavior, they will follow suit, since admins usually are in charge of the rules, so it'd make sense to abide to them.
I also find it rather amusing that in the 'Pete Nattress' topic made by the Fake Ashman, at first, everyone was on Fake Ashman's side, and after Nattress posted, no one was on Ashman's side. It's funny when you think of it.
As a closing note, sooner or later Nattress will take the link down, it will happen, either if the people demand it taken down or if Nattress takes the link down himself, without anyone pressing him to.
I'm on neither side, mostly because Nattress is an admin and I don't feel like losing an account for no really good reason, and I don't know enough about the subject to make a full opinion about it.
