My workplace appartently used to have Macs a few months before I started there, thank fuck they replaced them all with PCs. We still use Quark Express though, which is designed for Macs, and hence, it's rubbish, with its unconventional keyboard shortcuts and stuff.
Yeah Macs Rule! I'm gonna go play some Doom 2 and Abuse, and maybe some solitare while I wait five year for them to port DOOM 3 over so I can laugh at the Mac's horrible attempts to real time render. And While I'm at it, I'm going to put a business card CD rom into my Imac for fun.

I watched a movie called Silicon Valley a fair while ago. It's based on the story of Bill Gates and him taking ideas. I don't know how accurate it really is as a whole, but it might help you clear away the fuzziness.
NOOOOOOOOO! Macs don't crash half as much as PCs. Everyone in the professional world uses Macs, well most anyway in the entertainment industry. And that's all I'm interested in so I guess it's ME vs TDC.
Na PCs are okay i've been using them my whole life and still am, it's just I like making movies using Final Cut Pro and that's why I need a Mac, it's the best program for movie making.

That might've been true ten years ago but I doubt very much it's the case today. I'd be interested to see a survey proving things either way.
As for macs not crashing often, that's nonsense. I'm the 'unofficial' computer dude in my college (the official one is a retard), and I get called out to as many crashed macs as I do real computers.
Adobe premiere and after effects is what the big boys use, which runs faster on a PC costing the same as a Mac.
Hahaha, my friend just got a $10 million dollar grant from the state of hawaii to develop a new educational database system for the schools here. When I went to his lab I was flabberghasted, it was filled with Macs!
I was fucking freaking out at that point, but then he turned on one and up came windows XP, opened the case and inside was pentium chips. He just had all the computers modded to look like apples from the outside. That, was cool, you get the functionality of PCs and the sexiness of macs.
Steve Zissou: Anne-Marie, do all the interns get Glocks?
Adobe premiere and after effects both suck, they're for amatures. Try using Final Cut Pro. It won the award for best filmmaking program. And it's for Mac.
