Yawnsomely Slow

You may have noticed that over the last day or so, the Daily Click has been experiencing some very slow loading times. We apologise for this, and as Planet Klik and Total Klik are seemingly having the same problem, we can put it down to the fact that Datastream in general is slow. Hopefully the problem will be rectified before the day is out. Tweet

Actually, Datastream is running pretty fast, it's just it's clients that are all going slow o_O

that datastream thing looks like a realy bad deal.. i get a popup every 20 seconds as long as im surfing the site... it has some downtimes and some slowtimes.. and your even paying alot of money for it!

Just curious, but why do you have pop ups? I'm pritty sure my site don't have pop ups, and we're hosted by the same people. Then again I could be wrong, cus currently this is the only site I view with IE and not Mozilla.

SW: The popup should only appear whenever you visit the main page, so it pays to work your way around the site without going back the the home page every single time. AS: We have popups because we use too much bandwidth, and Datastream threatened to take our site down. Everyone: We have been talking to another company who seem confident they will be able to handle our site (and the bandwidth that accompanies it). There will be a test period once we get close to the end of our current contract with Datastream.

Maybe when the DC is back up, you should get rid of the background, like Planet Klik did, to help conserve bandwidth space
