Flooding

Just so you all know I have now created a script that can remove every single submission made by a user from articles to games to comments to forum posts with just one mouse click. So the next time someone decides to flood DC just remember that it will take longer for you to make all the posts than it will take just one administrator to remove everything you've done.

The "display name" bug should now be fixed as well. Now two users cant both have the same display name.

There is now a "Top 100 Posters" link in the forum so now you can see where you rank compared to many other users.

Was there are particular problem with flooders then, or did you just do it in case they appear? I hadn't noticed much flooding on the forums, but I mainly stick to Misc and General. It's nice to see the DC evolvin'!:D

Just slightly unrelated: How about a minicompetition for the users of DC to create a new smiley for DC?! That'd be cool! Winner gets chosen by the admins and their design gets added as an emoticon!

Hmm i agree with this but i hope doesnt become abused like "Administrative message: this topic has been locked" That is being far too much, and on good conversations :P

"being used far too much" is what the last line meant to be. Sorry to sound negative but i fear that the admins will become "IT Technicians", at my school they block perfectly good things and are right grumpy. But a good idea :-D

Also it would be handy to have a little "locked" picture before you open the locked topic so you know out front it has been locked ... ---> Me looks at shadow;)

We're hacked quite often, it's just we have good admins that fix everything up quickly before most people notice 8) Rikus: I agree, I'll do that on the weekend along with 5 million other things I have to do.
