Smets Makes it Big

Those of you who have been around for a while will know Kevin Smets... Creator of the very popular Future Fantasy saga, among many other creations. He's also been a popular news story here at DC, doing very well in the film business which he has graduated into. Kevin dropped into DC recently to tell us how he's been going, and he told me that he recently finished directing a music video for the band Offset, co-directed with Ron Najor. I like to think that he draws his inspiration from the time he spent at The Daily Click, but that may just be wishful thinking on my part. It's a great clip, which you can check out here, along with clips from some of his other work including the sci-fi movie "The Syndicate". That's right, your favourite actor from "My Girl" now directs and stars in his own movies. Did his love for creating, that has earned him various awards, stem from his background with Klik & Play?
