GOTW: 24th October 2003

I know it's been a while but I'm back, and ready to update with an all-new GOTW. Before I get started I would just like to thank Circy for managing to keep this site up-to-date with absolutely no help from any other admin for the last couple of weeks!

I would also like to apologise to everyone who was waiting on me for one thing or another, in particular Jason and Jannis who both I know were waiting on me to complete some VERY IMPORTANT things. I'm really sorry, but fortunately everything will be back to normal (at least for another week until my exams start). And I would like to apologise to everyone else for not being here to do my general admin duties and respond to your messages (I have about a million Private Messages waiting for me, please be patient while I go through them all, it might take a while for me to get around to replying to your message!)

But back to the matter at hand; I would like to congratulate Rhys Davies for his game, which I think has received one of the highest number of votes compared to the others in its poll since I started doing this, Milber 2 (yes, you can stop messaging me every time I come on MSN now, Rhys, I've ended the GOTW and your win is now official ).

Next week's GOTW will feature:
Worm Wars IV, Starclaw 3, Ninja Nuclear Defense, Bottled Water Man Bash & Furballs

I would also like to offer my commiserations to Shen, who is being kicked out, and offer my congratulations to Pete Nattress who will be taking his place (as soon as I send him the Welcome message with all the information he needs to get started ). Unless Aku starts posting a lot more, someone will be taking his place soon as well (* ShadowCaster gives Aku an evil stare, who only did that last post after I got annoyed...)

So that's it for this week! Here's hoping I wont be too busy next weekend, and you'll all have another update.

Yep, because the images on RhysD's site are down. Once he comes online I will get him to fix them, then update the image here.

Because he hasnt updated in ages, and his updates are few and far between.

If a new admin came aboard they would need to update some at least. I've noticed Shadowcaster has posted alot. When Pete posted I wondered what was going on. Is there a limit to admins you can have at a time?

Why the fudge wasn't my game considered for GOTW? P.S. I don't want considerations next week because nothing's going to beat the hype train that is Streambolt, so forget you shaddy :p

Nob: Hey, you shouldnt have voted for "only selecting the best games" each week in my poll a while back, because I base my decision on a lot of things, and sometimes a good one slips by without me realising. Had everyone selected Option 2 instead we wouldnt be having this discussion ;) In other words... dont blame me! 8)
