Mega Fusion CD Released
News posted 28th November, 2003 by Pete Nattress
Too lazy to draw your own graphics but don’t want to use the TGF/MMF library ones? Benjamin may have the solution for you. He has released MegaFusion, an incredible new graphics library. But enough from me, let’s hear about it from Ben himself!

I'm very proud to present my newest product: The MegaFusion CD. This CD features over 2700 high quality graphics items for an amazing prize. All these graphics can be used royalty free in your own game creations made with Multimedia Fusion 1.5.

The libraries are separated into convenient groups like space, medieval, wild west, real time strategy, backgrounds, landscapes, platform and many more. On the CD you will find fully animated Medieval knights, Siege engines, Babylonian chariots, Greek horsemen, Modern warfare vehicles, Aliens, Heroes, Spaceships, Ancient Warriors, Creatures and much more. Also the collection includes a very unique wild west set including cowboys, Indians, fortress, buildings and even a stage-coach. Also there are many items to create complete worlds. Ground textures, Mountains, Rivers, Trees, Buildings (ancient, medieval, wild west, futuristic), Castle items (walls, gates, towers) and much much more.

This CD has been in development for quite a while now and has a very high and outstanding graphics quality. On my website you can find all of the info on the MegaFusion CD, screenshots of the libs and a few demonstration games, with many samples of the CD.

The CD is on sale for a special introduction price, which almost anyone can afford I would say. The price is in no relation to the amount and quality of the gfx on the CD, but more in relation to what I think most of us 'clickers' can afford. I've seen people ask the same amount for just one or a few libs with much less quality, this collection will give you over 130 new gfx libs.

So, now hurry over to http://www.newcreationsmultimedia.nl/gfx/index.html to find out everything about MegaFusion CD.

Well, the graphics look "ok". Nothing amazing though. How much in USA dollars does it cost?

It's around $15,-, that includes shipping and handling. Perhaps you may not find the gfx amazing (no claimed they are), but the amount you get for that prize and all of the gfx are good quality and 100's of them are fully animated (with at least walk, stop, attack, die sequences a number of them has much more animation sequences). Hope you will check out a few of the demonstration games to get a good look at the gfx.

People, sorry but that gfx is horrible.

Clickteam were making a Mega Fusion CD, with graphics and stuff. I'm not totally convinced that this should be allowed.

I agree with JD!It will be like "ripping" gfx from someone else! I know that making your own GFX is hard because of all animations and all but its much pleasant to know at the END that those gfx are your very OWN... And CIRCY got a point too!Clickteam were making a MegaFusion CD! Anyway wish you luck on your sales!And...you should really make a few RTS games with all that gfxs! Or make few for Tigerworks's RTS =)...he has an AMAZING engine but poor gfxs!

We gave him permission to have the MegaFusion name. These graphics were going to be part of the package but since we did not release it Benjamin asked if he could release his graphics himself - We said yes and gave him the name.

I agree there's nothing like creating your own gfx, but for people with MMF 1.5 (it won't work on anything below that) who can't create gfx this could be an outcome. Not all of the gfx could be used for a rts anyway, there are many more types on it and most of them would suit action/adventure games good too.

Plus decent explosions are hard to make, i usually use library/doom/duke nukem graphics for those XD, might be nice to have some new ones XD

hmmm i wont buy this cos i prefer to make my own gfx

I've go it, I will buy the cd... then becuase they are royalty free I will resell the images in a new and improved library... :) the Omegafusion 3deluxe is comeing!!! if I buy the cd...

Posted by Mr Coffee 2nd December, 2003

Royalty free does not mean you can resell them.

Sounds useful... but if I'm too stingy to pay for 1.5, I ain't paying for this. $15 = RM 45, about a month's worth of games. BTW, the words 'very high and outstanding graphics quality' are just inviting trouble. They're nice to look at, but still not worth the price tag. I'd love to make a RTS with the medieval one, though. Now if only there were little animations of the castle wall chipping off when hit by a siege weapon...

I do understand everyone wants the gfx for free or a cd sent for postage costs only.... but creating nearly 600Mb of gfx takes a long time, so asking a little bit in return for it isn't so bad is it? As for the price tag, show me another product with some many good and useful gfx for such a price... search for it and you will soon find out that it is a bargain. Whether you want to spent the amount of money on it is another thing, but it's more then worth it's price tag.

Just in case people still read this news... the sale will end soon. So if you're still consider buying hurry up, don't end up paying more if you don't need too! Also I'd like to thank all who do appreciate this product, by either buying or sending me encouraging emails. Thanks!
