LAN Gaming Goodness

Inspired by a post in the forums I've decided to host a LAN for the people in the community who are from Sydney, or are willing to travel to Sydney for a day/weekend. I've had a couple of people express interest already, but I need more! If you want to come, then send an email to shadowcaster@netspace.net.au ASAP!

Dont worry if you dont have a very good computer, or if you dont have any games, or if you dont have any experience; all people will be catered for. All you need is a computer running a Windows OS (preferably post-95 ) and a network card.

So all those from Sydney, and people who can make it to Sydney for a day/weekend, send me an email as soon as you can so it can be organised. You'll get to meet people from the community as well as have a great time playing games, leeching, and sucking the life out of my ADSL connection .

Dont worry if you cant drive or cant be driven -- if you live close to me (i.e. less than 2 hours drive), I might be able to pick you up.

This isnt a Klik Convention or something, it's a LAN for the people in the community that are in the Sydney area (or are willing to travel from other places near Sydney). jay: erm...? I think you're a little confused.

Quality situation to meet people for the first time who you only know online is to go into the city and go for a pub crawl with them. I did it a couple of weeks ago...it was like I meeting up with mates I haven't seen for years...twas great...
