GOTW #300: Friendly Strike 3

The 300th GOTW is now upon us... and I can reveal that Friendly Strike 3, created by TheCalimero, is this weeks GOTW winner! Commiserations to the other nominees, in particular to AndyUKs Lil Pirate which came up only slightly short.

The rules on GOTW are weird.

At the risk of making big drama time i'll say that i think non click games should be allowed into GOTW but Engines shouldn't be.

Something like Hatman probably shouldn't have been either since it's basically a demo. Although thats probably more debatable.

Very well done on GOTW, TheCalimero - it is well deserved!

And as for the non-klik game being in GOTW all i can say is it deserves to be in this list, regardless of what application was used to make it; it's a good game!

lol i'm cool with it.

Now if it had lost out to a 1 level demo or an engine or something i'd be a bit annoyed. But from what ive heard Friendly strike 3 is awesome.

It is very good - 8/10 good in my opinion and you should definitely play it, especially online. Lil' Pirate is also very good too though!

That is your opinion, -Adam-. However you must accept that in most people's opinion it is not. I had a major gripe with this game in the controls (and i still do, i think they are hideous!) yet if you read my review you will see i still believe it is worth a very healthy 8/10.

And i stand by that review since i still give it a few goes online everyday. There has been no other game that i have played everyday for this long after downloading.

You can download FS3ArenaDL 0.31/0.32, the 0.4 is taking more time because of that FTP extension which it don't work...

I've never heard of Friendly Strike 3 before it won GOTW so I wouldn't say it's been overhyped

Again, i stand by my review - 8/10, great game! And for those who criticise, have you made a game played by people online everynight? I doubt it. And i doubt your games are even played single player after a day or two.
