I told you 2009 was going to be a great year for the site! If adding pictures to the download page was a nice surprise you are hopefully going to love this! Flava has been working for a while now on the brand new DC POINT STORE SYSTEM and guess what? Its almost done! Check out the picture here, do you see anything different? 2 new links almost ready to be clicked! In the next little while everyones dc points will be reset to 0, fear not if you have a couple of downloads and projects running you can retreive your new dc points for that on the new points page. So what can you do? Well by posting on the forums, placing downloads writing reviews in a sense if you are active on the site you will earn points. You can put these points to a couple of cool things. For one you can now buy your very own custom rating or buy your way into the VIP forum were only VIP members can post! And if that was not enough there is now a entire Trophee system set into place! With it you can send trophies to other users for various different reasons. If a person has helped you out in some way, send them a trophy to say thanks. The trophee will come up in the users profile page. And if you have points to spare you can give them to other dc members, as a gift or for a good thing they did! The system is almost done and you know what.. its really cool! Hopefully you all will enjoy it and use it, its made for everyone on the site! And lets also give a huge thanks to flava for coding this monster! Ps On another Note Clubsoft has been hard at work on the dc-arcade wich is also going to be HUGE, we have some people testing it out and the response has been super positive. 1: When you buy a custom rating can you continually change it without a fee?

yay dc points store. i think once this and the dc arcade is done you guys need to finish tdc world chat game. then you can buy upgrade stuff for the chat game in the tdc store.

I like the idea of this, but I don't like buying your own custom rating. I like keeping that as an admin option.

This seems kind of like a forced way to make DC points "useful"... I foresee trouble. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

So does this mean there will be loads of quickly pushed out, half-assed articles and loads of poor, unfinished games available?

It's a great idea, but this could certainly have a few side-effects which could really dilute the quality stuff down...

I don't think that we'll get half hearted articles and poor unfinished games as I feel that this community itself is mature. I've hardly seen any noobs on here before the new point system.

Anyway I feel its a great idea, has encouraged me to start posting on the forums more. Great work
