New Game: Mod Society Demo

Now we are talking!! If you are a fan of the contra style games like myself then you will need to play the Mod Society demo created by Even more impressive is that this demo was made with XNA! If it ever comes out on the indie channel I will be for sure grabbing this one for my xbox! Great Job Cys! !!

Comments from Cys: I hope no one would mind this being a XNA game and not a MMF game. This is supposed to be an indie game community right?) Mod Society (still a working title) is a 2D Platforming Shooter similar to Contra and Gunstar Heroes with a huge focus on gun customisation. The demo features only a single level that will repeat for infinite times. You will be able to collect 5 guns & 47 mods (18 unique mods).

There have been a few indie games that I've thought about posting on the front page, but then did a double take and decided not to. If nobody minds I'd be willing to post those things from time to time.

Yeah OMC has been posting games from the indie scene. Rob Rule often just took news from directly from TIGS.

Btw, would you guys be interested if i wrote an article about my experience in converting to XNA from MMF? I have been coding in MMF for a decade before i made the switch.
