 Well, I've finally gone through the 68 DC mails I received after announcing that we will be selecting a couple of people to become admins, and selected 3 from a list which obviously consisted of very talented and worthy people.
I can hear what your saying... THREE? There originally was only going to be two people selected! Well, this is because I had such a hard time trying to decide who to kick off the short list to make two, I just decided to make them all administrators.
First of all, I'd like to say that GregB came very close, for being one of only two people who actually made me laugh out loud. A sense of humor is obviously a good characteristic (no one wants someone who takes everything too seriously and removes every second submission). Another person who was very close was PeterG, but he also was not selected. A little tip for the future: when your applying for a job as a moderator, dont say that you dont have much time ;)
But, like I said, there was a huge number of people who deserved the position, but alas not everyone can be made an editor.
So, without further ado, the new editors for The Daily Click are Circy, Muz, and Shen!
Ok, so you're all probably going to send me abusive DC mails like I always get, complaining that you're better than all three of the people above put together. Well, first of all, you're a very self amorous, arent you? Secondly, there was many things that contributed to what made me choose the above people. Those who wrote their request very well were rated highly, as well as how well they expressed themselves in any other submissions they have made to the website. Basically, what you said wasnt as important as how you said it... * ShadowCaster gets flashbacks of high school English classes where it didnt matter how good your speech was, you only got a good mark if you presented it well... :) That said, there was also other aspects which I looked at, such as your contribution to the website (including forum posts) and several other things.
I hope that helps you out next time we're looking for editors. Again, everyone who sent me a DC mail were all very highly rated in many different ways that matter. I hope you all like the new editors, and treat them a little nicer than most of you treat me ;)
