Wow. I mean, WOW. I didn't expect to actually be on schedule, especially for an ambitious project like this. Everything on the to do list for last month is done, and most of the things for this month already have a solution; I just have to code it in.
It seems too good to be true. Almost every 'minor adjustment', like aging, body part cloning, and positioning is done. Size is done. The attack system has been laid out and I gave myself the next 2 months to code that.
Character development is probably complete too.. I just have to add minor adjustments like what skills are actually going to be in there. I'm not sure whether to let them gain skill in a specific weapon, or in a specific weapon category. A machete, a falchion, a scimitar, are all "longswords", but if you're good at one, are you automatically good at the rest?
No, I can't make the player gain skills in a category AND the weapon itself.. that just leads to a whole bunch of balance issues and makes the game more confusing. Or does it..?
I hate game design so much sometimes.
