I have spent an awful lot of time trying to come up with a way to allow the player to choose how they play the game.
My latest idea is to have a selection of weapons appear at the midway point in each level and the start of all levels after level 1. But the more points you collect the better weapons appear. So players that want an easy life have to do well on the easy levels too.
Ive not decided on the weapons but I will try to create a wide variety of different weapons then put them into categories depending on how strong they are.
You can also collect power ups in mid level to speed up your movement, give a temporary weapons boost or give yourself a one hit shield.
All of these are just ideas at the moment so they might change later on.
