This is likely your first time seeing this project, as it was just started today. Anyway, I would like to introduce you to myself, Jon Lambert. I will be the leader of the TDC Community Project. I will be working to make sure discussions stay positive and relevant and project progress continues on a good and steady pace. If I ever feel that I fail to do this, I'll step down and let someone else take over. But for now, the first order of business is for everyone who is interested in helping with this to go to the first forum topic, the Initial Ideas thread. Here we will begin discussion on what style of game this will be. So, interested? Want to be interested? Want to give input? Don't just sit here and read! Get to discussing!
Now, a note to all readers and discussers. Here on this project page we don't need any comments like "This will never work, these projects never work." Secondly, when ideas are given or media is posted, we want constructive criticism. This obviously means no one should be saying things along the lines of "You suck at (music, programming, graphics, whatever)", but "I don't like that." is also not acceptable. Why? That doesn't help the creator at all. Give specific areas of criticism such as "The shading here could use some work." or ideas on how to improve it, such as "If you maybe add some drum beats in the background at 2:30". We don't need people bringing this project down, so if that's all you have to say, then don't say anything.
