I realized now that many of the programming decisions will rely upon the way the story flows, so I have started a Story Discussion thread to foster that. Here we will be deciding how the story will go, and how it will affect the rest of the game.
This also leads to another two open positions, neither of which require auditioning. The first is Lead Storyboarder, the person who will be organizing and making final decisions on the story and its elements. They will be decided by who shows interest in Story Discussion, who gives good ideas and critique to others, and who does both consistently and kindly.
The second position is Assistant Project Leader. This person will be doing much of what I already do, which involves constantly hovering over this project, giving and critiquing ideas, fostering discussion and development, moderating the forums, and making decisions on how the game will go, as well as any programming, graphics, sound, and story they may wish to involve themselves with deeply. This decision will be made based on who is consistently showing interest in the project, posting ideas, critiquing others, and being kind and manageable, as well as helpful.
Let's get some more work done, guys! The quicker we make some story decisions (mainly the hub and the area levels) the quicker we can move to graphics and then to sound!
