Since the last update Ive only really added stuff to the character's movements. made some baddies. and draw some art. I'm yet to actually make any levels.
The baddies' events took a long time to recode because i decided to throw away the awful detector based movement i used for them and used a fairly well known method of using spare animation directions for internal detectors. Which seems to be working really well
Also you'll be able to interact with the enemies a bit more than just killing them. You can knock their weapons out of their hands, stun them and some of the more intelligent ones will try to avoid your punches. If i can get it all in before the deadline.
Oh and the player will be able to dash and do an uppercut move too.
I figured it might be nice to have an open ended structure where you can go back into levels to collect giant stars which you can then use to open up later levels. With more than one Star per level.
