I'm currently having some trouble with the bosses emerging when they're supposed to; currently, boss 1 is fine, but boss 2 comes out immediately after boss 1 is completely defeated.
Working with Counters and Alterable Values to make it work; I just need to work a little more simply, I'm sure...
When i debug things, i set a different sound effect to play when "invisible" events occur. That way you will notice which event is going off early, or not at all, etc.
@ -Nick-: thanks for the suggestion. Using SFX would save me the trouble of setting up counters or creating active objects as 'visual flags.' It seems a VERY useful practice--thanks!
@ Rikus: believe me, I'm enthusiastic on showing my current level of progress! Apart from it being a busy summer, I currently don't have internet access at home, so it's been a bit of a challenge to transfer anything back and forth...I hope to have new screen shots posted soon.
