The most relevant update for today is probably the arrival of Johan Hargne as the soundtrack composer for the project. He's very talented as everyone knows and he doesn't need presentations, his amazing work speak for itself.
In other news, been working in readjusting the brightness of the tiles again, now that I checked the screenshots in another computer I realized how dark everyhing looked.
Been fixing a couple of bugs and changing a lot of stuff under the hood, to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. As of now I only have one small bug to fix before I can say the game is 100% free of bugs. After that it's only a matter of inserting new enemies and obstacles, do some optimization and I'm ready to start with the level making.
Also I got 2 more very talented level designers, each one will create 20 levels, with me it means we'll have a total of over 60 levels. From these 60 we'll select the 40 best and include the rest as a free expansion for the game on the (soon to be created) official site, along with other user made levels and campaigns/expansions.
The official levels in the game will not be unconnected though. The game will follow a story, I'll post the basic introduction here for everyone to have an idea of what I'm talking about.
I think I said this earlier, but A Man With a Monocle will be a lot more story driven than most platformers, and the story itself might not be what you expect, I believe it will be an interesting take on the good ol' "go save the princess" kind of story.
