Hey everyone, been a while since I updated Blob III so here's an update on what I've been working on in Blob III:
BTW, I won't be using the "box"-tiles in the game, those are just for engine stuff. Working on level graphics later
Level select area (still in works)
Basicly, you're in an open world with doors that lead to levels, and when you progress through the game more and more levels can be unlocked. I put up a screenshot in the sidebar, as a concept on what it might look like.
Invis Box + switch
Basicly, you hop on a switch and some boxes will be activated. You then have a limited amount of time to jump on those boxes to reach some places or whatever since you can't walk on them when the switch is off. Also, screenshot in the sidebar.
Blood effect on spikes
Yea, this is a small effect but it looks very nice if I should say so myself. Basicly, when you jump into spikes and blob's blood spurts all over the place and hits the spikes, the spikes will get more bloody depending on the amount of blood on the spike.
