I've gotten a lot of work done in the past few weeks considering I was playing a lot of Xbox 360 as well(Modern Warfare 2: Just beat Spec. Ops!). I'm also looking for an Zombie AI coder for the project. The zombie will need to have some Line of Sight AI and a chase AI. It'll also need a good roaming system in the direction of the player. I dont want a pathfinding, because that would be a bit extreme... Send me a PM (personal mail) and we'll discuss it.
So I've drawn out all of the player weapon sprites. I have also changed the interface a bit so you can now see how many trip mines and C4 you have (bombs with remote detonator). I'm also thinking of adding flash bang grenades to disorient the zombies for a few seconds. And if your in the flash bang explosion radius then the screen will turn white and shake and stuff like that.
I need find a good night and day system as well, so it's just not a big transparent active over the scrolling playing field, because that lags on my old computer There will be different types of zombies too! Some that are faster and others that have pistols. (the harder ones will be slower but bigger and have more health).
I added a chat room too. So you can talk to friends and then make your games in the lobby. At the moment I'm fixing all the weapon projectiles so the STG-44 will actually be automatic, the shotgun will shoot 5 bullets at a time, and other stuff like that.
