Right now I'm working on the xbox 360 controller support for the game. It's not the main priority for me right now, but I wanted to test out the Joystick 2 Object by z33z. You can grab that extension here: http://ext.neatwares.ath.cx/ext/Joystick_2_Object. Also note that in order for the extension to work correctly, you'll need the latest version of Direct X, which can be found here: http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/directx.html.
A few minutes ago I was messing around with the cool features about this extension, and I found out how to do the rumble feature . I quickly made up a little demo application if anyone wants to test it out. You can change the type of rumble (soft or hard) and change the duration of the rumble. I'm assuming you have an xbox 360 controller that you could plug into your computer (wired). You probably could plug in a different type of controller, but the button setup may be different Here's a screenshot and a link to the application.
