I'm down and sick this weekend, so instead of doing my normal mischeif on a night on the town, I will be working very hard on Motherworld. I've been telling my self for a while now that I was going to create a letter set up for mailing residents. It's obviosly based on Animal Crossing. But, since your pockets will be stuffed with healing items majority of the time,and I didn't want to code them into your pockets, you won't have to paper in order to send letters. In the towns, their are multiple "Mail Drop Off Boxes" around town. Simple approach one, say you want to mail a letter. Then get typing!
I also decided to improve upon the Animal Crossing style letter set up too. In Animal Crossing style, the resident you mail have no idea about the intent of your letter. You will be able to select an emoticon that decides whether you letter is meant to be happy or angry.
I haven't quite got your mail box set up so you can receive letters, but you can still see your letters in some weird places...
(The reason the letter is different in the second pic is because I accidently hit exit instead of send on the first one. So I had to retype it )
I do feel a little bad over how the letter uses the mouse instead of the arrow keys like the rest of the game but, I felt like it might be really challenging to create with the arrow keys.
