Attached are some screen shots of the current build, showing a few different features:
- when beginning the game, the player chooses if they want to continue their progress, start a new game, go through the tutorial levels, or quit the game.
- there are level select screens for each of the three 'stages' of the game: the meat freezer, the storage facility, and the vault level.
- tutorial levels have short explanatory text elements that explain how the game works and how to progress.
- some levels have 'teleporter' elements that move the player around the map instantly.
The background music is implemented, and I couldn't be happier: it's classic "muzak" that one would hear in a department store or some other cheesy corporate retail environment. I've also started writing/recording audio files that add more flavor to the mega-big-box-store vibe of Hank's.
The next playable build will be uploaded within a few days from now. Expect to be able to play all the way through the entire game, although the level select screens aren't all working properly. Still picking away at it.
