This is the Magic Quest source code. I am unable to continue this game because of an MMF limitation. See the readme.txt file for full details.

Anyway, this engine demonstrates a scripting language used to create a level. The runtime reads an external file and generates the levels terrain automatically within seconds. You can impliment fast loop if you want to make it run a lot faster but this is a beta so I did not include any extensions besides the list object and MCI. The engine itself also implements an identical Mystic Quest movement which is quite useful. The collisions are near perfect.

I could possibly continue this in the future but who knows.

Oh and the gfx are not ripped at all. Hand drawn with Mystic Quest style... Look up close >> the colors are very similar to Mystic Quest.

It's pretty nice, xcept a faster way to do this would be to use the fastloop object and an array. An array is much easier to make grid based maps in. Thank you, you gave me some inspiration to finish one of my other grid-based projects.
