I guess you could call this an "open-source" MMF project. See I got this Movie Maker, but it will take a lot of work and time, both of which I don't have a lot of. Well let me first explain the program.

DEC Movie Maker is pretty nifty. You add your own objects. The download includes 3(They suck, but you can make your own ). You setup frames and reposition objects each frame. You also set how long each frame will last. The interpolation object guides the objects along...and you get movement...no sound yet but it's a movie.

Well, it's fairly simple to use, but its no where near perfect yet. The interpolation object...or something delays the frames from starting. The objects stop inbetween each frame for a split second. I want that removed...completely. Theres also no sound, no backgrounds, nothing I want to add. Here is a list of what I(or maybe you!) plan to add in the future:

-Backgrounds-
-Music-
-Sounds-
-Environmental Special Effects(rain, fog, fire, thunder, ect.)
-General Special Effects(Fade ins, fade outs, explosions, ect.)-
-Full control over objects including (speed, position, transparency, size, ect. FOR Every Frame)-
-Export Files into folders with all objects and info to easily transfer over the internet-
-Possibly ability to post just the text on the internet and have player download graphics and run movies in a vitalize app-
-Many more objects.-
-Stick figures and other objects to be built using the drawline object.-

Okay, so now you see whats in store. I included the unbuilt file for a reason. Anyone who wants to help, make some changes...improvements, and send me the file at decstuff@comcast.net. I will look over changes you've made and if they are good, add them. Anyone interested in collaborating with me can. Contact me at that email for further information regarding that. You can also make and send in objects. Anyone who helps will be fully credited. If you send in work be sure to send in name or company and 1 link. All contributions, even those that are not placed within this program will be credited.

I don't know how far we will get, but im sure this program is at the very least, very interesting. Just uh, take a look and test drive it and be sure to tell me what you think.

cool, you should add the "Chroma-key" Thats not many free programs that have, not pinacle eighter.

For those of you who don't know, I think a chroma key is a blue screen. I guess there is a chroma key, because you will be able to setup your own backgrounds.

I know this is ot, but I see you got an iHP-120. I got one back in January, great, great MP3 player. Hasn't failed me yet.

Cinema 4D and 3D Studio Max are the best which is what I got , this program should be used for personal use only I made my first movie in Cinema 4D XL.
