screenshots can be found in the preview

this game isn't complete. it still has a few bugs of mine (falling through platforms and not being able to shoot at times is TGF's fault, however). why am i releasing this early? cause im going to focus on just animation. also, i have some people that know how to program in flash, and if we were to make a game, it would get so much more publicity than some crap click game its not even funny. im going to really focus on movies, anyhow.

anyways, on to the game:
this is spectacular programming for me, but bugs still remain, because im not working on this any longer. the graphics are improved from the preview and animations very fluent. if anyone wants to really finish the game for me, fine by me, pm me. but i doubt anyone will

dispite all of the bugs, i still hope you can enjoy the game. it's better than a lot of the stuff submitted to the site. edit: and if you're descision is that it's not, let me introduce you to spikey's adventure, or pong. *cough cough* circy *cough*

"it's better than a lot of the stuff submitted to the site" ??? Let us decide that.

Phizzy, my Circy cult does not like people who dislike Circy.

Oh no! Not freewebs! It's the slowest host ever! Oh, wait...it's done downloading now.

This game could use a lot of work indeed.

Wow...this is buggy. No level design to speak of, just random platforms with enemies that constantly run back and forth, shooting at you. Their bullets are inactive when off the screen, so expect to be greeted by an unfair hail of projectiles. Dying quits the game. Poor collision detection, and I'm not sure what the hell's wrong with the ladder in the second screen. Sometimes you can get stuck in walls or fall down a bottomless pit, which only the F2 key will "fix." Level transitions are messed up: go right from the first screen to get to the second screen. Then go right again to get to the third screen. Going left takes you back to the right side of the first screen. If you go right again, it takes you to the right side of the second screen!! WTF, mate? Going down on the second screen allows you to get a bigger weapon, which teleports you to the right side of the first screen. I thought that that's what you needed to destroy that random barrier in the third screen, but the game randomly took away my ability to shoot there. It's like you haven't even played the game before releasing it. And don't go blaming this on TGF, either. The graphics and music aren't bad, though. Spikey's Adventure was at least kinda funny, and Pong, in its many forms here, is simple fun for 2 players.

i never had a problem with the level transition(prolly tgf there). the second bullet blows up the rock, which in turn gets you to a screen with a lever that blows up the barrier. yep. very buggy. :D

who voted thumbs up?

and about the not playing before releasing, you're right, i didnt, because flash is so much more fun than debugging a shit amateur game :D:D:D:D:D

why you blaming TFG so much, its your fault its buggy not TGFS

Posted by awesomeanimator 14th August, 2004

i dont make flash games...i make movies. and tgf does suck, by the way. i have proof you littele fuckers.

The graphics are nice, but the programming isn't very good.. Also the mountains or whatever in the front is very distracting... In terms of graphics, this is better then alot of the stuff submited here, but in terms of programming I would say it's slightly below or near average. "why am i releasing this early? cause im going to focus on just animation. also, i have some people that know how to program in flash, and if we were to make a game, it would get so much more publicity than some crap click game its not even funny"- Wow, you make lone wolf games for the publicity? and if you use TGF which is horribly out of date then there will be problems with it.... but a lot of the problems are just your "eventing" (incase you think you are now too 1337 for clicking to be called programming) "i dont make flash games...i make movies. and tgf does suck, by the way. i have proof you littele fuckers."-Someone is awfully defensive.... Look, this has potential but it needs A LOT of work.... And from the looks of it, so does your attitude.

There have been plenty of good games made in TGF. Your inability to do so does not constitute proof that it 'sucks'.
