okay i thought it was good, BUT in some places the jumping got a bit buggy only a bit, and somehow i managed to get the character into an area where uve obviously programed the engine, with numbers on a grid?
Pretty good, but movement is buggy when walking against a wall and there's some place where you can enter the grid (at a right wall somewhere).
This looks like it could have done MUCH easier, even when putting those grid objects on top of the original (and making them invisible) would help a great deal.
This is not really isometric, but I would call it original! An earthbound-like game with jump 'puzzles' and obstacles would be great!
Hey, why don't you open-source it so other people can use it or tell you things that should be changed!
looks and runs gr8 - excluding the noticed bugs!
lets just hope the engines dynamic to build other levels out of, if so then i think i can see a game coming from it :P
the shadow is so that it is even more obvious that the sprite is jumping, at least that's what i think it's for
yeah, i think you should make it open source, that way people can help tweak bits and parts of your engine, to make it perform even better, because at the moment, the character vibrates against some walls, and at some walls, if you push against it, you can't jump
This is mostly positive, the bugs aside.
If the file is corrupted it is most likely because you did not download the whole file. I had to use a few tries before I got the whole file too. The host seems a bit unstable.
Wow, pretty cool! :D Nice idea, quite good implementation. Though, as noticed before me, there are several bugs. I really dislike it when he stops moving when jumped while walking and landed, and the fact that you can't jump when standing close to a wall is also a bit annoying. Other then that, it's really cool.
Looks great! I like it! Good shading, even though it's not really projected.
When I fell off in that hole, it took me to a weird place that tells the hieghts of the map I guess... couldn't get out. Had to rerun the application.
