In this game you are in a very long track and you are a car. Drive around the obstacles and around the course. There are some little short cuts, like through the mud or over a pile of snow. See if you can beat the opposition as you verse them to the end, will they also take your short cuts and avoid the obstacles such as puddles, pot holes, destroyed cars, swinging wrecking balls, cars on a freeway and even an out of control steam roller. Can you make it to the end!? Or will you be caught out by the difficult obstacles.

(Please comment to say if you think a full version of this game should be released, or give a thumbs up or down, because if it has bad feedback, i will not take it further.)

Controls: Arrow keypad on keyboard.
Up: Accelerate
Down: Brake
Left and right: Turn
An extra:
Ctrl: beep!!

Thankyou

I don't wanna be a 'bad guy' commenting this; I know you are pretty new to kliking. *AHEM* This game is O.K. except the 32 directinoal standard movement, the graphics and the AI. This could be a cool game with some drama in it, like 360' steering smart AI and some bad-ass graphics ;D And maybe even some weapons and mod music.

5 / 10
because you're new.

Since you're posting this many games, get a more decent host. Like www.sitesled.com .

"if it has bad feedback, i will not take it further"

If it has bad feedback, you should make it better.

I will make minor adjustments, but if people think it isn't worth going on then i wont make a full version.

can someone tell me what kak means? i have a feeling it means something bad..

Posted by Kazuma 25th November, 2006

You're the one who should decide whether or not to continue it.

Posted by Silveraura 25th November, 2006

Giving newer people that choice, usually ends up with a bunch of sequels to a poorly made game, I appreciate the fact that he's offering the community I say in if it should go forward.

Posted by /\/\@RCU$ [Modern Game Creations] 25th November, 2006

do you like it?

Posted by DaVince 26th November, 2006

If you get horrible comments, restart this from scratch, trying to do better than you did before.

ok i can tell already people are going to tear this apart and heres the thing. its not absoloutely horrible- most of the people here who will call your game crap probably released MUCH bigger pieces of shit back during the klik n play era when they could actually get away with it and now get all pissy at people who don't have the hang of it, so don't be discouraged by asshole comments. the problem is your games still don't come anywhere near the quality they need to become accepted in any community outside of, say, your immediate family... start learning advanced techniques, pick up all the extensions you can find and use existing commercial games as a basis. look closely at how most top down racers youve seen actually play. i don't just mean level design and special effects but control mechanics, how the computer racers actually act, etc. try not to scrap your ideas- the community has absurdly high standards these days but it was pretty much built by people like you

Well, it looks like bhlaab is the only intelligent one here!

Here are some points to note:

- You are not going to make a commercial-standard game on your own.
- Consider the scale on which graphics, AI, control etc. are rated. Now imagine how advanced you want your game to be in each of these features. Exactly - impossible. It isn't going to be perfect, so don't rely on other peoples' opinions.
- What do YOU want your game to be like? Is it like it? Then what's wrong with that? If not, fix the areas that aren't until you're happy.
- A lot of people here are slightly deluded in the fact that they think it is possible to make a commercial standard game, combined with the fact that peoples' precious own projects appear better to themselves than they do to anyone else. Put it this way - by the time you have created a commercial standard game, assuming it's possible (which it theoretically is), on your own, by then the standards will have shot miles out of reach.

The most important piece of advice I can give you is to let other peoples' rejection inspire you to make something that, in your own special way, blows their minds. Even if it doesn't, you will make games that will impress yourself with, which is the entire value in making games, in my opinion, i.e. creating games can be fun, and why should you let other people stop you having fun?
